Clearance Class Dialog
For a signal that you select in the Signals
tree, the Clearance Class dialog allows you to assign a clearance class. You can select multiple signals to assign a clearance class to them. Launch this dialog by pointing the cursor in
the Clearance Class column, in the Constraint Browser: Signals Section, Signals Tab, Design Rule sub tab. Click the displayed
button. You can also specify clearance classes in the Clearance Class Dialog which is launched from the Properties Panel in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor.

Removes the filter that you specify in the Filter box. This is shown only in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor. This is not displayed when the dialog is launched from eCADSTAR Schematic Editor. |
Filter | Enter an alphanumeric value to reduce the number on items that are shown in the Clearance class list. This is not displayed when the dialog is launched from eCADSTAR Schematic Editor. |
Clearance class list | Lists the clearance classes that you create in the Clearance Class Manager dialog. Select a value, and click OK to apply it to the selected signal. |
OK | The value that you choose in the Clearance class list is assigned to the selected signal, and the dialog is closed. The name of the selected clearance class is displayed in the Clearance Class column, in the Constraint Browser: Signals Section, Signals Tab, Design Rule sub tab. It is also displayed in the Properties Panel, Value cell for the relevant signal. |
Cancel | Closes the Clearance Class dialog without assigning a value. |
