Design Tree
The Design Tree panel
allows you to view data in a tree view for open designs. It also provides
a view of hierarchical designs which comprise several definition circuits.
It is toggled on by clicking View > Design
Tree on the eCADSTAR Schematic Editor
ribbon, or by clicking on the Status Bar. Circuit data
and resource files are displayed, and sheets or data can be displayed
by selecting them in the tree. Data is represented by icons as nodes in
the tree, and folders and nodes can be expanded or collapsed. You can
open data, execute a command or activate a tool by double-clicking an
icon, or selecting an item on the assist menu. You can close a design from the assist menu, and also reorder and rename sheets in the Design Tree panel using the Sheet Reorder dialog.
- You can open only one design per instance of eCADSTAR Schematic Editor.
- If $CIRCUIT_PATH notation exists in the data path definition file, and the top circuit is changed from the design tree menu, then close the design once and reopen it.
