Creating or Deleting Differential Pair Classes
The following procedures describe how to create or delete differential pair classes in Constraint Browser.
- In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Design Rules > Constraint Browser or Home > Design Rules > Constraint Browser on the ribbon.
- In eCADSTAR PCB Viewer, launch Constraint Viewer by clicking Home > Design Rules > Constraint Viewer on the ribbon.
- In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Browser > Constraint or Home > Browser > Constraint on the ribbon.
- In eCADSTAR Schematic Viewer, launch Constraint Viewer by clicking Home > Constraint Viewer > Constraint Viewer on the ribbon.
Creating a Differential Pair Class
- In Constraint Browser, click the Signals button and then select the Classes/Groups tab. The tree for classes and groups is displayed.
- Right-click the Differential pair classes branch in the tree, and then select Differential Pair Class Manager on the assist menu. The Differential Pair Class Manager dialog is displayed.
- In the Differential Pair Class Manager dialog, Create Differential Pair Class box, enter a differential pair class name and click Create. The differential pair class that you specify is added to the Existing Differential Pair Classes box, in the Differential Pair Class Manager dialog.
- In the Differential Pair Class Manager dialog, click Close. The differential pair class that you specify is added to Differential pair classes branch in the Classes/Groups tab.
Deleting a Differential Pair Class
- In Constraint Browser, click the Signals button, and then select the Classes/Groups tab. The tree for classes and groups is displayed.
- In the tree, right-click the differential pair class to be deleted and select Delete on the assist menu. The specified differential pair class is deleted from the tree.
