Technology and Design Rule Editors

This training course will familiarize you with the basic operations of the eCADSTAR Technology and Design Rule Editors. As a prerequisite, you must understand the fundamental principles of designing Printed Circuit Boards. You will be guided through the complete process of setting up and using both the Technology Editor and the Design Rule Editor. The course can be followed on its own, or as part of the full suite of eCADSTAR training courses.

You will create the technology and rules for a typical 4-layer board. Technology generation will be covered first, before moving on to Design Rule generation. As you work through the course, there are tasks to guide you through the process.
