Introduction to Electrical Editor

If you do not have specific eCADSTAR design data, you can create schematic scenario data in eCADSTAR Electrical Editor, and perform a speculative (“What-If”) analysis. Electrical Editor allows you to assign models to symbols of drivers, receivers, etc. These models are managed in the design’s simulation library. If you specify parameters for a cross-sectional structure of transmission lines, then the editor calculates the parasitic parameter "RLGC".  This provides the characteristic impedance and propagation delays that are based on the cross-sectional structure.
