Non-Electrical Objects
Non-Electrical objects are library items that do not have electrical pins. Examples of these would be a company logo or a schematic sheet outline. It is recommended that you add these types of component to your library for the following reasons.
- They are made available to all designers.
- A consistent footprint and symbol size is made available.
- It makes it simpler to place a logo in a design.
Logos can be created in your company library as either symbols for eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, or footprints for eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
You have completed the main tasks in the eCADSTAR Library training. You can now use the main functions of the tool, and can create and maintain a library using this software. It is recommended that you archive or delete the DIY training files, ready for the next user.
