Setting or Releasing an E-Net Class Reference

The following procedures describe how to set or release a reference to an E-Net class.

• In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Design Rules > Constraint Browser or Home > Design Rules > Constraint Browser on the ribbon.
• In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Browser > Constraint or Home > Browser > Constraint on the ribbon.

Setting an E-Net class reference

Set a reference to an E-Net class for the E-Net, as follows.

1. In Constraint Browser, click the Signals button, and then click the Signals tab. A tree and a table of signals are displayed.
2. Click a target E-Net on the tree used for displaying signals. The target E-Net is displayed in the signal table.
3. In the signal table, select the Signal Class tab, click in the E-Net class cell. The E-Net class dialog is displayed.
4. Select a target E-Net class from the list in the E-Net class dialog, and click OK. The specified E-Net class is displayed in the E-Net class cell for the signal table.

Releasing an E-Net class reference

Release a reference to an E-Net class for the E-Net, as follows.

1. Click the Signals button, and then click the Classes/Groups tab. The tree for class/group display is displayed.
2. Expand the E-Net Classes.
3. Expand the appropriate E-Net Class.
4. Right-click the E-Net to be excluded from the E-Net class, and then click Exclude on the assist menu. The specified E-Net is deleted from the tree.
