Adding or Excluding Members of an E-Net Class

The following procedures describe how to add and exclude members of an E-Net class.

• In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Design Rules > Constraint Browser or Home > Design Rules > Constraint Browser on the ribbon.
• In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Browser > Constraint or Home > Browser > Constraint on the ribbon.

Adding a Member of an E-Net Class

1. In Constraint Browser, click Edit > E-Net Class Manager. The E-Net Class Manager dialog is displayed.
2. Create a new E-Net class by selecting an E-Net in the Selection list to create/edit box, and clicking Create by the New E-Net Class box. The new E-Net class is moved to the Existing E-Net Classes box.
3. In the Selection list to create/edit box, select an E-Net to add to the E-Net class. The Add to E-Net Class button becomes available.
4. Click the newly-created E-Net class in the Existing E-Net Classes box, and click Add to E-Net Class. The E-Net is added to the selected E-Net class.

Excluding a Member of an E-Net Class

1. In the Existing E-Net Classes box, click an E-Net class. Its members are displayed in the Member list box.
2. In the Member list box, right-click an E-Net and select Remove from E-Net Class on the assist menu. The E-Net is removed from the selected E-Net class.
3. In the E-Net Class Manager dialog, click Close to close the dialog.
