NCF Editor: Order Tab
The Order tab allows you to specify the output code and a string for each block order. It is accessed from the NCF Editor dialog.

D code | The following values can be specified for D codes. | |
Address character | Specify an address character code. Enter a single, uppercase, alphabetic character. | |
Initial value | Specify the initial value of the code number. Enter a value between 0 and the value specified in the Maximum number of digits field. | |
Increment | Specify the value that is used to increment the code number. Enter a value between 0 and the value specified in the Maximum number of digits field. | |
Maximum number of digits | Specifies the maximum number of digits of the code number. Enter a value between 1 and 9. | |
Add 0s for max. number of digits | Allows you to specify whether zeros are added to achieve the
maximum number of digits that you specify in the Maximum
number of digits box.

Block order format

Order name | Lists the block orders for which you can specify a macro command.
Specify a macro command for a block order by pointing the cursor
in the Block order column, for

Program start | Allows you to specify a program start order string. | |
Drill hit | Allows you to specify a drill hit order string. This field is not displayed for photo data. | |
Move | Allows you to specify a move order string. | |

Arc (Clockwise) | Allows you to specify an Arc (Clockwise) order string. | |
Arc (Counter-clockwise) | Allows you to specify an Arc (Counter- clockwise) order string. | |
Select apertures | Allows you to specify a Select apertures order string. | |
Select tools | Allows you to specify a Select tools order string. | |
Optional stop | Allows you to specify an Optional stop order string. | |
Program stop | Allows you to specify an program stop order string. | |

Block order | Specify a string for the relevant block order by typing it
in the relevant cell. Alternatively, point the cursor in this
cell and then click the displayed ![]() |
Modal format
Allows you to specify the strings that are assigned to codes in the modal format. Add a row to this table by right-clicking it and selecting Add Group on the assist menu. Delete a row by right-clicking it and selecting Delete Group on the assist menu. If you specify a value in the highest Code [number] column, then another column is automatically created. It is named Code [number + 1].
