Grid Settings Dialog

The Grid Settings dialog allows you to specify the style of a grid in Footprint Editor. It is displayed by clicking   Snap Grid split button > Grid Settings on the status bar.

Item		Description
Select grid preset		Shows the grid settings. Click Grid in this column to choose a grid in the Select Grid Preset dialog. The grids in the Select Grid Preset dialog are specified in the Default Grids dialog.
Pitch		Displays the pitch of each grid. Set the pitch by clicking the grid name and selecting a grid in the Select Grid dialog, or by typing values in the X and Y columns.
	X	The pitch of the relevant grid in the X direction.
	Y	The pitch of the relevant grid in the Y direction.
Display interval		Allows you to display a grid mark at multiples of the specified pitch. For example: If a value of 1 is set, every grid position is displayed. If a value of 10 is set, every 10th grid position is displayed. You can snap to a grid line, even when it is not displayed.
Highlight interval		Allows you to highlight parts of the displayed grid according to the highlight interval that you set. For example, setting a value of 2 highlights every second displayed grid position.

Style		Allows you to set the style of the grid as either points or lines.
	Point	Sets the style of the grid as points.
	Line	Sets the style of the grid as lines.
