Task 10: Viewing a Summary of Differential Pairs

This topic describes how to view the coupled lengths and differential impedance of differential pairs that are displayed in Constraint Browser.

  1. In Constraint Browser, select differential pair "DDR_DQS0_N-DDR_DQS0_P" and then select the Differential Pair Routing tab in the table on the right.

  1. Scroll the grid within the Differential Pair Routing tab to display the Differential Impedance cells. Enter the following values in the Min. and Max. columns.
    Min. [Ω]: 85
    Max. [Ω]: 110
  2. After Min. and Max. values are added, the results are automatically updated. Optionally, you can click Update values. The measured value, obtained from the routing status of the board, is shown in each cell for the differential pair displayed in the table. The Violated Length and Match Ratio values for differential impedance are obtained using the maximum and minimum impedance values that you specify.

This task is demonstrated in the following video.
