Generating Thermal Lines for Padstacks or Pads
The following procedure describes how to set thermal relief attributes for specified padstacks or pads.
- Click Padstack > Pad/Padstack

Thermal Settings on the ribbon. The Thermal Settings dialog is displayed.
- On the canvas, drag the mouse to select the objects for which thermal relief attributes will be set. Objects that have thermal relief attributes set are displayed with a red pin mark.
- In the Thermal Settings dialog, specify settings in the Target and Attribute groups and click Apply. Alternatively, click Apply on the assist menu.

- Pad (pin only)

- Alternatively, select the objects for which
thermal relief attributes will be set, and click Padstack
> Pad/Padstack >
Thermal Settings on the ribbon.
- Attributes are set for all layers. They cannot be set individually for each conductor layer.
- If Flood is selected in the Thermal relief box, repouring is not done for existing cutouts in a plane, which must be edited using the Edit command. If a template area is used, the area is repoured.
- The Thermal Settings command is only available in 2D View mode.
