Switching the View Mode Between 2D and 3D
To toggle the view between 2D and 3D in Footprint Editor or eCADSTAR PCB Editor,
double-click the middle mouse button (wheel) when on the canvas. Alternatively,
click View > 3D > 
3D View on the ribbon. In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, specify the 3D display method using the Orthographic setting.
Note
When design data without layer thickness settings is displayed in 3D, all layers are displayed with the same height. Layers are not displayed in their physical order. To display the layers in the correct order, specify the thickness of each layer using the board design rule editor.
