Thermal Settings

The Thermal Settings command allows you to set thermal relief attributes for a specified padstack or pad. Run the command by clicking Padstack > Pad/Padstack > Thermal Settings on the ribbon. This command is only available in 2D View mode.

  • The specified attributes take precedence over the settings in the Thermal Relief section of the Design Settings dialog.
  • Thermal relief is also carried out if a target padstack or pad exists on the area fill of the same net.
