Adding or Deleting a Technology

For an existing technology library in eCADSTAR Library Editor, the following procedures describe how to add or delete a technology.

Adding a Technology

1. On the eCADSTAR Library Editor ribbon, click Home > Editors > Technology. The Technology Library Editor dialog is displayed.
2. In the Technology Library Editor dialog, Technology list section, click Add technology. The Add Technology dialog is displayed.
3. In the Add Technology dialog, Technology name box, specify the technology name to be added.
4. In the Number of conductor layers box, set the number of conductor layers.
5. Click Create. The new technology is created and added to the Technology list box, and the Add Technology dialog is closed.

Deleting a Technology

1. In the Technology Library Editor dialog, Technology list box, right-click a technology to display the assist menu.
2. On the assist menu, select Delete. The technology is deleted.
