The Add Technology dialog allows you to add a new technology to the technology library. It is displayed by clicking Add Technology in the Technology Library Editor in eCADSTAR Library Editor.

| Technology name | Specify the technology name to be added to the Technology Library Editor, Technology list section. |
| Number of conductor layers | Select the number of conductor layers that are associated with the new technology name. |
| Create | Adds the specified technology to the technology library. The new technology is displayed in the Technology Library Editor, Technology list section. |
| Cancel | Closes the Add Technology dialog without adding adding a new technology to the technology library. |
