Creating and Deleting Net Classes

The following procedures describe how to create and delete net classes in Constraint Browser.

• In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Design Rules > Constraint Browser or Home > Design Rules > Constraint Browser on the ribbon.
• In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Browser > Constraint or Home > Browser > Constraint on the ribbon.

Creating Net Classes

1. In Constraint Browser, click the Signals button and then click the Classes/Groups tab. The tree is displayed for classes and groups.
2. Right-click the Net classes branch in the tree, and then select Net Class Manager on the assist menu. The Net Class Manager dialog is displayed.
3. In the New Net Class box, enter a net class name and click OK. The specified net class is added to the tree.

Deleting Net Classes

1. In Constraint Browser, click the Signals button and then click the Classes/Groups tab. The tree is displayed for classes and groups.
2. Right-click the net class to be deleted on the tree, and then select Delete on the assist menu. The specified net class is deleted from the tree.
