Move Section

The Move Section command allows you to move a specified section of a line in eCADSTAR PCB Editor or Footprint Editor. You can use this command instead of the Reshape command if only minor changes to an object are required. The following procedure describes how to use this command to move a section of a line.

1. In eCADSTAR PCB Editor or Footprint Editor, specify a section of a line as follows:
2. Double-click the line to define the first point of the section, and then click a position on the line to define the second point.
3. Alternatively, right-click the line and click Select Section on the assist menu. Define the section by clicking two points on the line.

2. Drag the section to a new position on the canvas.
3. Click the canvas to define the new position of the section. The Move Section command is ended.
