Reshape

The Reshape command allows you to edit lines, area fills, segments in an area or sections by specifying an appropriate path. It is executed by clicking Shape > Reshape >ReshapeReshape on the Footprint Editor ribbon. This command  is only available in 2D View mode.

Angle lock

Value Description
45-degree The angle (in degrees) between the sides of the object to be input is limited to the following values.
  • 0
  • 45
  • 90
  • 135
  • 180
  • 225
  • 270
  • 315
90-degree The angle between the sides of the figure to be input is limited to the following values.
  • 0
  • 90
  • 180
  • 270
Free The angle between the sides of the object to be input is not locked.

Area fill

Tangent arc

Value Description
ON A tangent arc is generated at the corner of an object. Its radius is specified in the Radius of tangent arc field.
OFF The vertex is placed at the corner of an object.
Radius of tangent arc
Value Description
Real number greater than 0. Set the radius of the tangent arc to be generated.

Line

Tangent arc

Value Description
ON A tangent arc, with the radius that is specified in the Radius of tangent arc field, is generated at the corner of an object.
OFF The vertex is placed at the corner of an object.
Radius of tangent arc
Value Description
Real number greater than 0. Set the radius of the tangent arc to be generated.

Line width

Value Description
Real number greater than 0. Set the track width of the line to be input.

 

Note
  • When editing the shape of an object, you can insert an arc by selecting Insert Arc on the assist menu.
  • To set a flag mark partially along a section, press the Shift key and click the required position.
  • If you specify a value for Angle lock in the Reshape dialog, then a circular mark is displayed when the cursor position satisfies the specified Angle.
