The Align dialog is displayed when you select objects on the in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor or Symbol Editor canvas, and then click Home > Move > Align > Distribute Vertically by Specified Gap, or Home > Move > Align > Distribute Horizontally by Specified Gap on the menu. Alternatively, right-click the canvas to display the assist menu, and then select Align > Distribute Vertically by Specified Gap or Align > Distribute Horizontally by Specified Gap.

| Gap | Specify the distance at which the selected objects are arranged around the base object that you specify on the canvas. The selected objects are arranged either vertically or horizontally around the base object, at the specified distance between their symbol origin. Their existing order is maintained, and the placement grid is ignored. |
