Exporting Drill Data

The following procedures describe how to export drill data from a design, export parameters from the Output (Drill Data) dialog, import parameters from a file to the Output (Drill Data) dialog, and save specified parameters to a file.

Note
When you generate a drill table from a PCB design, any text on the relevant drill drawing layer is deleted, regardless of whether it is inside or outside the board area.

Executing Drill Output

Output drill data as follows:

  1. On the ribbon, click Manufacture > Manufacture Output> Drill Data. The Output (Drill Data) dialog is displayed.
  2. Edit the parameters and click Execute.

Checking Messages

Error and warning messages are displayed in a separate dialog, and can be saved as text files.

Editing Parameters for Drill Output

Set the parameters used for exporting drill data as follows:

  1. Set the parameters in Basic Settings; see Output (Drill Data): Basic Settings Tab.
  2. Set the parameters in Drill Process Settings; see Drill Process Settings Tab

Exporting Parameters from the Drill Output

The parameters that are set in the Output (Photo Data) dialog allows you to export parameters to a file as follows.

  1. Configure the parameters, and click Export parameters in the upper-right of the Output (Drill Data) dialog.
  2. In the file selection dialog, specify the destination and file name and click OK. The parameters are saved in the file.

Importing Parameters to the Drill Output

Parameters that are stored in a file can be loaded into the Output (Drill Date) dialog as follows.
