The Rotate command allows you to rotate a selected object by a specified angle. It is rotated around the center of the area represented by its symbol size. To rotate multiple objects, hold the Ctrl key, select them and click Selection End on the assist menu or double-click. Toggle this command by selecting an object that can be rotated on the canvas in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor , Symbol Editor or Footprint Editor and clicking Home > Move >Rotate on the ribbon. Alternatively, click Home > Move >Rotate on the ribbon, and then select an object on the canvas. The Rotate dialog is displayed.
- You can also execute this command by pressing R on the keyboard.
- You can toggle off this command by pressing Esc on the keyboard, or clicking Cancel on the assist menu.
