Editing Parameters for Export STEP Advance
Set the parameters used for exporting a STEP file.
- In the Export (STEP Advance) dialog, click Edit Parameters.
- The settings in the following categories are the same as those for the parameters for Export 3D Basic. See: Exporting 3D Files.
- Specify a method of generating 3D data for the following items:
- Board
- Hole/Via
- Component
- Conductor
- Other layers
- Modeling for CAE
- Set Deformation spec.
- Set the Output format.
Setting | Value | Description
Output format | STEP format | AP214 | Output files in the AP214 standard. |
AP203 | Output files in the AP203 standard.
STEP config | Assembly | Output files in the assembly configuration. The layers and component shapes form independent parts with a unique ID name and a coordinate system. The outside of the area is not cut when only the component shape is specified. This is because one component-shape model is shared by multiple components in the assembly configuration and the shape cannot be changed uniquely.
Part | Output files in the part configuration. One entire board forms a part. |
- Click OK. The parameters are applied.
