The following procedures describe how to display unrouted nets on the canvas in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
Displaying Unrouted Nets
Specify that unrouted nets are displayed on the canvas
by toggling on
Display Nets
on the Quick Access Toolbar. Alternatively, select Net
/ Route > Net > Display Nets on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor
ribbon.
Displaying Nets for a Selected Object
For an object that is selected on the canvas, display the associated nets as follows.
- On the Quick Access Toolbar, toggle on Display
Nets. Alternatively, select Net /
Route > Net > Display Nets on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor
ribbon.
- Select an object on the canvas.
- On the assist menu, select Net Visibility > Only Selected Net. Unrouted nets are displayed for the selected object.
Target objects
The following are valid target objects:
- Unrouted nets
- Conductor figures (excluding those without nets)
- Padstacks (excluding those without nets)
- Components
Displaying a Component Group Net
Display a net between component groups on the canvas as follows: on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor ribbon, toggle on the Group Net setting by clicking View > Canvas > Canvas View Settings split button > Group Net. This command is only available in 2D View mode.
