The Component Information command allows you to display the following information for components that you select on the canvas in eCADSTAR PCB Editor. Toggle on this command by clicking Report > Information > Component Information on the ribbon. Drag the cursor over an area on the canvas to display information for all components in the selected area. The information is listed in the displayed Reference dialog.

| Part | The part name that is associated with the component. This value is displayed in the Part row in the Properties Panel. |
| Reference Designator | The reference designator of the component. This value is displayed in the Reference Designator row in the Properties Panel. |
| Component Symbol | The component symbol that is associated with the component. |
| Pin Count | The number of pins on the component. This value is displayed in the Number of Pins row in the Properties Panel. |
| Side | The side of the board on which the component is placed. This value is displayed in the Placement Side row in the Properties Panel. |
| Coordinates | The coordinates which describe the position of the component on the canvas. This value is displayed in the Coordinates row in the Properties Panel. |
| Angle | The angle at which the component is oriented on the canvas. This value is displayed in the Angle row in the Properties Panel. |
| Footprint Name | The footprint that is associated with the component. This value is displayed in the Footprint Name row in the Properties Panel. |
