The start page provides links and shortcuts to useful resources. By default, it loads when you launch eCADSTAR PCB Editor. To return to the start page, click the Start Page tab or click View > Display > Start Page on the ribbon in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
RECENT WORKSPACES
Displays the workspaces that you accessed recently in any eCADSTAR application. You can remove an item from this section by right-clicking it and selecting Remove from Recent on the assist menu. For more information on workspaces, see Using Workspaces.

Migrating the Default Workspace from a Previous Version of eCADSTAR
Using the Migrate Environment dialog, you can migrate the default workspace from a previous version of eCADSTAR, and set it as the default. Launch this dialog by clicking Home > Workspace > Migrate Environment on the Start Page. Alternatively, click File > Workspace > Migrate Environment. Select the version that you want to migrate the workspace from, and click Execute.
RECENT FILES
Lists the last 15 design files that you opened in eCADSTAR PCB Editor. They are listed in the order in which they were last opened, with the most recently-opened item listed first. Click an item to open it. Alternatively, click the item in the Recent section on the File tab.

OPEN
Allows you to open a design.

The DIY Training Guide provides short tasks that will familiarize you with eCADSTAR Library Editor, the Technology and Design Rule Editors, eCADSTAR Schematic Editor and eCADSTAR PCB Editor. The Interactive Tour is an interactive guide that highlights the key features and functionality of eCADSTAR.
