Shortcut Key Setting Dialog

The Shortcut Key Setting dialog allows you to specify the commands that are executed when you press relevant shortcut keys in each eCADSTAR application. New shortcut key definitions can be added, and existing ones edited or deleted in this dialog. You can specify the default shortcut key definitions for eCADSTAR or CADSTAR, or load shortcut key definitions from a specified file. The Shortcut Key Setting dialog is displayed by clicking File > Configuration > Shortcut Key Settings Shortcut Key Settings on the relevant ribbon.

  Description
Shortcut key list table   Shows the existing definitions for shortcut keys and their associated commands. Add shortcut key definitions, and edit or delete existing ones using the buttons at the bottom of the Shortcut Key Setting dialog.
  Key Shows the shortcut key definitions. Keys shown in bold are only available when the canvas has focus.
  Command Shows the command that is associated with a shortcut key definition.
  Description Describes the command that is associated with a shortcut key definition.
Add   Allows you to add a shortcut key definition using the Add Key Mapping dialog. The shortcut key definition is added to the Shortcut key list table.
Edit   Allows you to change a shortcut key definition that is selected in the Shortcut key list table. Select a new shortcut key definition or command in the Edit Key Mapping dialog.
Delete   Deletes the shortcut key definition that you select in the Shortcut key list table. Multiple items can be selected using the Ctrl or Shift key.
Save as   Allows you to export the shortcut key definitions to an XML file. Specify the location and name of the file in the Save As dialog and click Save.
Load from file   Allows you to load the default shortcut key definitions for eCADSTAR or CADSTAR, or load the settings that are stored in an XML file.
  Load eCADSTAR defaults Resets the shortcut key definitions to the eCADSTAR default settings.
  Load CADSTAR defaults Resets the shortcut key definitions to the CADSTAR default settings.
  Load from Allows you to load shortcut key definitions from a specified file. Select an XML file in the Open dialog and click Open.
OK   Applies the shortcut key definitions that you specify, and closes the Shortcut Key Setting dialog.
Cancel   Closes the Shortcut Key Setting dialog without changing shortcut key definitions.
