CADSTAR Schematic Symbols Library Preparation
This topic provides recommendations for preparing library data for CADSTAR Schematic Symbols for migration.
- Launch eCADSTAR Library Editor.
- Select Schematic Symbols in the Library tab, Manage group.
- In the Library Manager dialog, select the top level (.lib) item in the list on the left.
- Click the Archive button.
- In the Export to File dialog, select the Browse button.
- Select the migration directory defined during the preparation of the part library data for migration.
- Click Save to apply the settings and close the dialog.
- Click OK to export the entire contents of the Schematic Symbols binary library to the archive file format (csa). Export them to the prepared library directory for the migration.
The CADSTAR Schematic Symbol library data preparation is now complete.
Note
To export a subset of the Schematic Symbol library, a selection can be made in the component list. When you execute Archive, the selection is exported to the csa file.
