Adding or Excluding a Net Group Member

The following procedures describe how to add or exclude an E-Net as a net group member.

• In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Design Rules > Constraint Browser or Home > Design Rules > Constraint Browser on the ribbon.
• In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Browser > Constraint or Home > Browser > Constraint on the ribbon.

Adding a Net Group Member

1. On the Edit menu of the Constraint Browser, click Net Group Manager. The Net Group Manager dialog is displayed.
2. In the Existing Net Groups field, select an existing net group.
3. Select a signal to be added (E-Nets, Power or Ground) from the Selection list to create/edit field. You can select multiple items using the CTRL or SHIFT keys.
4. Click Add to net group. The specified selection is added to the Member list field.

Excluding a Net Group Member

1. On the Edit menu of the Constraint Browser, click Net Group Manager. The Net Group Manager dialog is displayed.
2. Click a net group to be edited in the Existing Net Groups list. The member signals (E-Nets, Power or Ground) are displayed in the Member list field.
3. In the Member list field, click a signal to be excluded and then click Remove from net group on the assist menu or click the Remove from net group button. The specified signal is removed from the Member list field.
