Importing Figures from Photo Data

Figures can be Imported from photo data to a specified layer as follows.

  1. On the ribbon, click Manufacture > Manufacture Input > Import (Photo Data) Photo Data. The Input (Photo Data) dialog is displayed.
  2. Specify the path to the photo data file to import in Photo data file by clicking . Select from the file selector or enter the file path directly in the text box.
  1. If the photo data is not in RS274X format, specify the path to the aperture list file (*.fpl) in which aperture shapes are defined. Click and select from the file selector, or enter the file path directly in the text box. For format details, see Aperture list file.
  1. In the Destination box, select the layer to which the data is imported.
  2. Specify a value in the Scale box.
  3. Specify Analysis mode.
  1. The data is converted as shown below, and imported.
Objects Description
Stream Imported as a line.
Polygon Imported as an area fill.
Flash
  • When imported to a data layer, it is converted into a pad.
  • When imported to a drawing layer, it is converted into an area fill.
