The contents of the Non Conductor tab in the Rule Editor dialog are described below. This tab allows you to optionally set design rules for non-conductor objects, including the minimum size, spacing and orientation of symbol marks, and clearance values for resists and symbol marks.
Symbol mark specification
Set the size and spacing of symbol text, and restrict its rotation to specified angles.

| Minimum text height | Specify the minimum height of text associated with symbols. |
| Minimum text spacing | Specify the minimum spacing between characters of text associated with symbols. |
| Restrict to following text angle | For each side of the board, symbol text can only be entered
at specified angles by selecting the associated box.

Clearance
Set clearances for resists and symbol marks. Different values can be specified for wave and reflow sides.
