Add Rectangle

The Add Rectangle command allows you to create a rectangle by placing line segments. It is run by clicking Home > Shape >Rectangle on the eCADSTAR Schematic Editor or Symbol Editor ribbon. Alternatively, click Draw > Shape >Rectangle.

Dialog

Item		Description
Tangent arc		Allows you to create a rectangle with rounded corners.
	ON	The rectangle is created with rounded corners.
	OFF	The rectangle is created with square corners.
Specify Color		Allows you to specify the color of the rectangle.
	ON	If selected, the Color box is made available.
	OFF	If selected, you cannot specify the color of the rectangle, and the Color box is made unavailable.
Color		Click the Color box to select a color in the Select color dialog.
Line Type		Select the line type of the polyline by selecting it in the Line Type box, or select <DEF> to specify that the default value is used. The values that are listed are set in the Line Type tab, in the Assignments Dialog. The default Line Type value for polylines is set in the Line Type tab, Default Line Type section, Polyline box, in the Assignments Dialog.
Line Width		Select the line width of the polyline by selecting it in the Line Width box, or select <DEF> to specify that the default value is used. The values that are listed are set in the Line Width tab, in the Assignments Dialog. The default Line Width value for polylines is set in the Line Width tab, Default Line Width section, Polyline box, in the Assignments Dialog.
