Property Viewer Default Settings

The Property Viewer Default Settings dialog is launched from the Assignments dialog. This allows a default font and color to be specified for each property name (e.g. Reference Designator, Part Name, Value) in the eCADSTAR Schematic Editor Symbol Editor. This overrides the generic default values set in the Assignments dialog. This makes it easy to collectively set and change the font and color for each property name.

Each tab lists the relevant property names in a table. For each property name, a default font and color can be specified. If a property name does not specify a default font or color, then the generic default from the Assignments dialog will be used.

In a design a design, each property viewer can use its default font or color(signified by <DEF> in the Properties Panel) or be set to a specific font and color.
