Receiving an Object Selected in other eCADSTAR Applications

An object selected in other eCADSTAR applications, such as eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, PI/EMI Analysis, Electrical Editor, etc., can be received when cross probing. The object is selected on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor canvas or in the Constraint Browser, and then can be processed by a command.

Receiving an Object Selected in other eCADSTAR applications on the Canvas or in the Constraint Browser

  1. Release the current selection by exiting the active command.
  2. In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, PI/EMI Analysis, Electrical Editor or Analysis Results Viewer, select an object, and then send it using the local cross probe function. The object is selected in the tree view on the canvas and in the Constraint Browser. Objects that were previously selected are deselected.
