Adding Angle Dimensions
The following procedures describe how to add angle dimensions to the drawing layer of the active layer in eCADSTAR PCB Editor. Before you add dimensions, make the drawing layer visible, as follows:
- In the Layer
Settings panel, select the
Visible drawing layer column in the Drawing layer section. To display this column in the Layer View table, select Show in grid in the Drawing layer section.
- For the relevant layer in the Layer
Settings panel, Layer name column,
select the
Visible drawing layer check box.
Adding an Angle Dimension (Angle)
Add a dimension that represents the angle between two line segments or the angle of an arc, as follows.
- On the ribbon, click Draw
> Angle Dimension >
Angle. Alternatively, click Home > Dimension > Add >
Angle.
- Perform the following steps, based on the target to which the dimension is added.
Adding the Angle Between Two Line Segments
- Specify one line segment.
- Specify the other line segment. A dimension is drawn.
Adding the Angle of an Arc
- Specify the arc of an object. A dimension is drawn.
- Specify the height of the dimension. The dimension is applied.
Target objects
The following are valid target objects:
- Line
- Area fill
- Meshplane
- Height limit area
- Rule area
- Component area

The following items can be selected by right-clicking the mouse:

Adding an Angle Dimension (Arc Length)
Add a dimension that represents the length of an arc, as follows.
- On the ribbon, click Draw
> Angle Dimension >
Arc Length. Alternatively, click Home > Dimension > Add >
Arc Length.
- Specify the arc of an object by clicking on the canvas.
- Specify the height of the dimension. The dimension is applied.
Target objects
The following are valid target objects:
- Line
- Area fill
- Meshplane
- Height limit area
- Rule area
- Component area
Assist menu
The following items can be selected by right-clicking the mouse:
