Undoing or Redoing an Edit Operation

The Undo and Redo commands allow you to return Footprint Editor data to the state it was in before the most recent command was executed, and redo editing operations on the data that were previously undone.

Undoing an Editing Operation

Revert edited data back to the original state. Undo is not always available, depending on the most recent command that is executed.

  • Click Undo on the quick access toolbar or select Undo on the assist menu. Alternatively, click Home > Undo > Undo Undo on the ribbon. The edited data reverts to the state it was in before editing.

Redoing an Editing Operation

Redo editing operations on the data that were previously undone. Redo is not always available, depending on the most recent command that is executed.

  • Click Redo on the quick access toolbar or select Redo on the assist menu. Alternatively, click Home > Undo > Redo Redo on the ribbon. The edited data reverts to the state it was in before the Undo command was implemented.
