Improved in Version 2024.0: DRC

The eCADSTAR Schematic Editor has had various improvements made to the Design Rule operations and checks in 2024.0. These are listed below:

Hide Unchecked Rules

• unchecked rules within the DRC settings dialog will no longer appear within the results dialog.

 

 

Support for date/time in locale results

• When opening a report, it will now reflect the time the report was created in your local time zone.
• If a report is created on 01/02/2024 8:51pm in the UK, it will show 8:51pm for people in the UK. But, if opened in Japan, it will show 02/02/2024 05:51am, as it has taken into account the time zone difference.

 

 

Improved DRC check for dangling connectors

• DRC will now notice dangling connectors on nets that are connected by other means. This allows the user to tidy their schematic prior to creating a new PCB or Forward annotating.
