DRC

The DRC command allows you to execute a design rule check for the circuit or currently-displayed sheet. In the DRC Settings Dialog, specify the items that are checked. In the DRC dialog, you can specify that all DRC errors are deleted, or only DRC errors that are set to Unprocessed in the Check Results dialog.

Note
  • If Check is not selected for a particular item in the DRC Settings Dialog, then it is not listed in the Check Results dialog, Item box after executing the DRC command.
  • If Check is selected for a particular item in the DRC Settings Dialog and no errors are detected for it, then the item is listed in the Check Results dialog, Item box. This confirms that the item was checked by the DRC command and that no errors were detected.

This command is executed by selecting Report > Design Rule Checking > DRC on the eCADSTAR Schematic Editor ribbon. The DRC dialog is displayed. The results are displayed in the Check Results dialog.

 Note
If multiple users are working concurrently on a schematic design, then the DRC command cannot be executed.
