The Ungroup command is used to ungroup objects on the canvas in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor or Symbol Editor that are grouped using the Group command. This allows you to move them individually. Select grouped objects on the canvas, and then click Home > Move > Arrange > Ungroup on the ribbon. Alternatively, right-click them and select Ungroup on the assist menu. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+G on the keyboard to launch this command. Any child groups belonging to the group are not ungrouped. Groups with fewer than two members are deleted. If a child group is left with only one member after using the Ungroup command, then it is moved to its parent group. For further guidance on using groups, see Working with Groups
Note
- Groups can be selected on the canvas only when Main Object is specified in the Object Filter.
- The display on the canvas is not changed when objects are grouped using the Group command. Also, the attributes of groups are not shown in the Object Balloon or Properties Panel
