Exporting an IDF File

The following procedures describe how to export to an IDF file, and import and export parameters.

Exporting to an IDF File

Export to an IDF file as follows.

1. On the ribbon, click Design > Export > IDF. The Export (IDF) dialog is displayed.
2. In the File box, set the path to an IDF file to export.
3. Click Edit parameters. The Edit Parameters dialog is displayed.
4. Set the required parameters in the Edit Parameters dialog and click OK.
5. In the Export (IDF) dialog, click Execute to start the export.

Importing Parameters for IDF Export

Import parameters that are stored in a file as follows.

1. On the ribbon, click Design > Export > IDF. The Export (IDF) dialog is displayed.
2. Click Edit parameters. The Edit Parameters dialog is displayed.
3. In the Edit parameters dialog, click Import parameters. The Open dialog is displayed.
4. In the Open dialog, specify the file to import and click Open. The parameters are set.

Saving Parameters for IDF Export

Save the parameters that you set in the Edit parameters dialog to a file.

1. On the ribbon, click Design > Export > IDF. The Export (IDF) dialog is displayed.
2. Click Edit parameters. The Edit Parameters dialog is displayed.
3. In the Edit parameters dialog, set the required parameters and click Export parameters. The Save As dialog is displayed.
4. In the Save As dialog, set the destination and file name and click Save. The parameters are saved.
