View Design Changes

The View Design Changes dialog lists the objects that are added, removed or updated by the Forward Annotation command. Any changes to reference designators and nets in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor are displayed. It also allows you to view the relevant objects on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor canvas. This dialog is displayed by clicking Design > Design Changes > Forward Annotation split button > View Design Changes on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor ribbon. It is also displayed automatically at the end of the forward annotation process.

Item   Description
Design Changes table   Displays the objects in the PCB design that are added, removed or updated by the Forward Annotation command. For each object, its reference designator and type is displayed, and the associated action performed by the Forward Annotation command is indicated.
  Object Displays the type of the object that is added, removed or updated by the Forward Annotation command.
  Name Displays the reference designator for the object that is added, removed or updated by the Forward Annotation command. If you select an object in this dialog with toggled on, then it is displayed on the canvas in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
  Change type For each object, the associated action is described that is performed by the Forward Annotation command. If further information is provided in the View design changes (Details) dialog, then this is indicated. Click to display this dialog.
button   If this button is toggled on, then any object that you select in this dialog is displayed on the canvas in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
  Selected If you select an object in this dialog, then it is displayed on the canvas in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
  Not selected If you select an object in this dialog, then it is not displayed on the canvas in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
button   Displays the View design changes (Details) dialog. This dialog allows you to view the details for the objects that are added, removed or updated by the Forward Annotation command. It also allows you to export them in text format.
