To avoid problems in the manufacturing process caused by symbol marks, the CutSymbol Mark command allows you to cut symbol marks around holes and resists, and away from the board outline. This applies to all symbol layers for which Visible layer is selected in the Layer Settings panel. This command is only available in 2D View mode.
- Set the clearance between symbol marks and the board outline in the CutSymbol Mark dialog.
- Set the clearances between symbol marks, and holes and resists in the Rule Editor dialog, Non Conductor tab.
