DRC for Specified Layers

Allows the clearance of objects between a non conductor layer and the specified layer to be checked by a specified value. Launch this command by clicking Report > DRC > DRC for Specified Layers on the ribbon in eCADSTAR PCB Editor. If errors are detected, then the Check Results Dialog is displayed automatically after the command is executed.

Execution mode

Value		Description
Check objects		The selected objects are checked.
	Non conductor layer	Specify the name of the non-conductor layer.
	Target layer	Specify the check target layer.
	Assigned value	Specify the clearance.
	Check for short	ON: overlapping locations are also checked. OFF: overlapping locations are not checked.
Delete errors		The selected error marks are deleted
Check design		All objects specified in the Non conductor layer are checked.
	Non conductor layer	Specify the name of the non-conductor layer.
	Target layer	Specify the check target layer.
	Assigned value	Specify the clearance.
	Check for short	ON: overlapping locations are also checked. OFF: overlapping locations are not checked.
	Check for same component	Allows you to identify whether the clearance is maintained inside data in the same component type. This includes edited shapes in parts. ON: Clearance is checked between shapes in the same part. OFF: Clearance is not checked between shapes in the same part.
Delete all errors		For specified layers on the board, all error marks for DRC are deleted.

 

Value	Description
Execute	Checks the clearance for objects between a non conductor layer and the specified layer. The DRC for Specified Layers dialog remains open.
Exit	Closes the DRC for Specified Layers dialog without checking the clearance for objects.
