Pins Panel
The Pins panel allows you to configure the pins associated with the footprint that is displayed on the Footprint Editor canvas. Toggle on this panel by clicking View > Display > Pins on the Footprint Editor ribbon.

Number of pins | The quantity of pins in the footprint. | |
Pin No. | The number associated with a pin. | |
Pin ref. point | Displays the coordinates for the reference point of the pin. | |
X | The X coordinate of the reference point of the pin. | |
Y | The Y coordinate of the reference point of the pin. | |
Pin exit directions | The exit directions that are associated with the pin. Select a value in the Pin Exit Directions dialog. This dialog is displayed by clicking "..." in the Pin exit directions column for the relevant pin. | |
Objects | Allows you to specify values associated with objects. | |
Type | The type of object. | |
Name | The name of the object. | |
X | The X coordinate of the object. If the object is an area fill or line, this is the X coordinate of the center of the minimum rectangle. | |
Y | The Y coordinate of the object. If the object is an area fill or line, this is the Y coordinate of the center of the minimum rectangle. | |
Angle | The angle of a padstack or pad. | |
Layer to input | The layer for pads, area fills or lines. | |

ON | The selection status of the table is sent to the canvas when no command is activated. |
OFF | The selection status of the table is not sent to the canvas. |
The Pin
Exit Direction Settings dialog in eCADSTAR PCB Editor
allows you to override the pin exit directions that you specify. The new
settings are used by the Autorouter.
