Improved in Version 2024.0: Mesh Generation

When creating Template Areas to generate copper area fills, it is now possible to associate mesh plane parameters to the template areas within eCADSTAR PCB Editor.

 

• When area fills need to be re-generated, they will automatically contain the mesh plane layout into the copper area fill.

 

 

• Manual edits made within the mesh plane template area will regenerate the copper area fill including the mesh plane in the copper.

 

 

• The Generated mesh plane can be controlled to avoid cutouts of the mesh where routes appear on adjacent copper layers.
• The option Avoid tracks of adjacent layers can be enabled/disabled.
• When enabled the Spacing defined will specify the distance the mesh gaps can be to the signal on the adjacent layers.
• The Target net will define the nets that need to be considered when placing the mesh.
