Improved in Version 2024.0: Manufacturing Data Outputs

Various improvements have been made to the manufacturing data outputs in eCADSTAR PCB Editor. These are listed below:

 

• Compress ODB++ output.
• Option to compress the ODB++ output as a .ZIP, .TAR or .TGZ file (or none).

 

 

• Manufacture Photo Data Output has been enhanced supporting the option to exclude unconnected lands of internal layers.

 

 

 

 

• Added editable extensions for Manufacture Photo and Drill Data output file.

 

 

• A new macro has been added to support the Outputs for Drill and Photo data.
• ${dbDirPath} is a macro that will allow you to use the relative path to the design and any subsequent folder. For example:
• Design location = C:\Root folder\project folder\design folder
• Output location = C:\Root folder\project folder\design folder\output
• In the output folder location section of a dialog use the following ${dbDirPath}\Output
• ${dbName} will add the design name and can be used to create design name folders or files.
