Improved in Version 2024.0: DRC (PCB)

Design Rule Checks have been improved in the eCADSTAR PCB Editor application. The improvements are listed below:

 

• Copper Overlapping Star points
• It is now possible to overlap copper and tracks at starpoints without a DRC error. With online DRC ON, DRC errors are not created.
• When the option Do not detect area fills connected to starpoints as errors is not selected, DRC check and Post check will display DRC errors.

 

 

• Isolated thermal DRC – Include landless pads
• It is now possible to include no land state padstacks for isolated thermals when performing a DRC check.

 

 

• When performing a DRC check it is now possible to exclude test points from being included as Antennas.
