Add Bus
The Add Bus dialog allows you to place busses on a schematic sheet. It is displayed by clicking Home > Add > Bus on the eCADSTAR Schematic Editor ribbon.

Value | Description | |

Through Connection | Allows you to connect objects when placing a bus on a schematic sheet; see Through Connection. | |
ON | Objects on the placed bus are connected. | |
OFF | Objects on the placed bus are not connected. | |
Wiring Mode | Allows you to select the input mode for nodes. If Auto wiring or Semi-auto Wiring is selected, pins are automatically avoided that obstruct the net that is being routed. | |
Auto Wiring |
Allows you to specify only the start and end points. Intermediate nodes are generated automatically. If selected, Through Connection is automatically set to OFF. |

Semi-auto Wiring |
Specify intermediate nodes after specifying the start and end points. |

Manual Wiring |
Specify nodes sequentially from the start point. If Manual Wiring is selected, Lead Angle is made available. |

Angle Lock | If Manual Wiring is selected in the Wiring Mode box, then you can specify that busses can only be placed on the canvas in increments of 45 degrees or 90 degrees, or can be placed at any angle. | |

Free | If selected, busses can be placed on the canvas at any angle. |
45-degree | If selected, busses can only be placed on the canvas in increments of 45 degrees. | |
90-degree | If selected, busses can only be placed on the canvas in increments of 90 degrees. | |
Ripper Direction | Allows you to select the direction in which the ripper is dragged | |
Clockwise | If selected, the ripper direction is tilted clockwise, against the direction in which the T-shape section of the bus, or the net connected to the bus, is added. | |
Counterclockwise | If selected, the ripper direction is tilted counterclockwise, against the direction in which the T-shape point of the bus, or the net connected to the bus, is added. | |
Specify Color | Allows you to specify the color of the bus. | |
ON | If selected, the Color box is made available. This allows you to specify the color of the bus. | |
OFF | If selected, the Color box is made unavailable. | |
Color box | Click the Color box to select a color in the Select color dialog. | |
Line Width | Specify the line width of the bus by entering a value, or select
<DEF> to specify that
the default line width is used.
