The following procedure describes how to make figures selectable or non-selectable for each data layer or drawing layer. A layer for which figures are selectable is called a selectable layer.
- Toggle on the display of the Layer
Settings panel by clicking View >
Display >
Layer Settings on the ribbon
in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
Alternatively, click Layer
Settings on the status bar. - In the
Selectable
layer or 
Selectable drawing layer column in
the Layer View table, click the cell
for a particular layer to toggle between selectable and non-selectable
figures. Toggle this setting for multiple layers using the Ctrl
or Shift keys, or by dragging the
cursor.
To display the Selectable drawing layer column in the
Layer View table, select Show
in grid in the Drawing layer
section.
