Restarting Testpoint References

The following procedures describe how to restart reference designators for all testpoints.

Restarting Testpoint References by Net Name

Restart testpoint references for each net as follows. Each testpoint reference name contains the Prefix, Net name and Number in net fields, respectively.

1. On the ribbon, click Net / Route> Testpoint > Testpoint split menu > Restart Testpoint Reference. The Restart Testpoint Reference dialog is displayed. This command is only available in 2D View mode.
2. In the Restart Testpoint Reference dialog, select Net name and click OK. The Reference dialog is displayed showing the changes you have made.

Restarting Testpoint References by Number

Restart testpoint references in order of the serial numbers on the board, as follows. Each testpoint reference name contains the Prefix and Number fields.

1. On the ribbon, click Net / Route> Testpoint > Testpoint split menu >  Restart Testpoint Reference. The Restart Testpoint Reference dialog is displayed.
2. In the Restart Testpoint Reference dialog, select Number.
3. Specify values in the Prefix, Sort mode, Bandwidth and Restart number order fields, and click OK. The Reference dialog is displayed showing the changes you have made.

Target objects

The only valid target object is Padstack.
